Long before NAFTA, before outsourcing became trendy and even before the maquiladora laws were in effect, we were building fiberglass parts in Tijuana, Mexico. With a humble beginning producing sporting goods for the Sports Chalet chain almost 30 years ago, our operation was formally organized as a maquiladora in 1984. While production in Mexico has long been an option for San Diego based companies, for the rest of the state and country the concept has really caught on. While labor prices in China remain significantly lower than Mexico, the ease of shipping and turnaround continues to make Mexico an effective production location
We've assembled a workforce of experienced composite workers, many with 10 years or more of experience in open mold production and now well versed in infusion and vacuum bagging processes. Our 8,000 square foot produciton facility is fully permitted, compliant to all current regulations and run under the skilled direction of degreed engineers.
